Did that and paid the downpayment and got a little card even. I was in town for a week on business and looked around for a tattoo shop to get some new work done and settled on hand of fate and went down to the shop to set up an appointment with the artist. I know Ill get work from other people too, but Jake will always be my go-to. He can do everything from classical nautical style to beautiful watercolor work, and takes a lot of pride in what he does. Hes a great artist, and a lot of fun to sit and BS with while hes working. Jake is amazing, and made my first tattoo experience fantastic (its a combination of Irish flowers and stonework that wraps across both shoulder blades, and down my arm, so its not a small piece). Pro-quality work and standup unpretentious people - more than i could say about some other parlors in town. These guys are great tattooists and also fantastic people - i was back home in Toronto and couldnt come to HofF for the touch-up, and eddie, who was guesting at a parlor near town, did it there for free. It was a two-inch thick straight line accentuated by two other lines, and man did he keep them straight all the way down. Got some serious blackwork on my arm - from my shoulder down to middle of my forearm - done by Jake and touched up by Eddie.
